The Monday Mood has definitely struck. Luckily we have the perfect wine to match. Come out to Blush to try the 2013 Domaine Labranche Laffont Madiran. Vigneron, Christine Dubuy, has crafted a red that gives great flavor, depth, and smooth force. This wine is a blend of primarily Tannat, with some Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Tannat Grape is one of the highest tannic grapes out there, but don't let that worry you, Dupuy knows how to tame that little beast. The tannins are certainly there, but with proper acidity to balance it all out.
