Proof that a ladies horse can be found at the end of a rainbow Jenn has photo proof now!!
New prospective lesson clients!! Please standby and call us in the Spring to discuss lessons for the summer. High demand for beginner lessons, Covid restrictions, and shorter dry daylight hours limit spaces. Our lesson slots AND wait list are currently full. More openings will be available in the summer. #holdyerhorses #availabilitycomingsoon
It’s that time....

My name is Lauren Murrell, and I have been training horses and instructing riders for 30+ years. My love is teaching, and my desire is that my students learn so well that they can tackle their own horse problems. I am also a carded judge. I have trained all breeds, and have shown mostly in AQHA, Quarter Horses, and APHA, Paints. I have numerous Youth Circuit Champions in All Around Events in OK and CA. I also have many Amateur Champions, Amature and Youth All Around Champions... Club Champions, State Champions, World Qualifiers, an AQHA Congress Nov YTH Champion, and Gold n Grand Champions in all events including halter, showmanship, pleasure, horsemanship, hunt seat, trail, and reining. I myself have shown for 25 yrs with points in WP, Trail and Reining. OPEN Champion in Reining 2004, Gold-n-Grand. I want to help those riders that REALLY WANT TO LEARN! I pride myself in working really hard to produce a harmonious relationship between horse and rider. It's all based on knowledge, respect, and good horse sense!
Missed lead frustration #4.
Serious post here y’all. This memorial photo shoot for a young lady in KS and her 37 year old gelding reminded me of a fair question that’s commonly asked by non horse folks. Many times we are asked what makes this horse so special? It’s just a horse. When a person has horses in their blood- ingrained in their soul and that person finds THEIR horse, something magical happens. It generally doesn’t happen often or instantly. Both human and horse form a unique relationship... that transcends EVERYTHING. Lessons, triumphs, struggles and accomplishments are shared together. It’s no longer just a horse. It is your friend, confidant, hero, teacher, and challenge. It keeps your secrets, carries your dreams and hopes, and it becomes a part of you. You have found your heart horse. Yes it may be hard to understand when their heart horse takes a place of priority in their life; sometimes placed ahead of significant others, parents, and human friends. There’s no way to explain this other than to tell you it’s not a competition but that person literally leaves a part of their soul in that pasture or barn. We are typically reminded of this special bond during a time of loss or an impending time when we know we must say see ya later. It’s hard to know what to say. Saying goodbye is never easy no matter the relationship, but this, is a different kind of heavy tangible loss. Yes life goes on, the grief will wane (and sometimes come unexpectedly crashing back). It’s ok. It’ll always be ok; because your equestrian will ALWAYS have that bond ( physical or not) and that just a horse will ALWAYS be a part of their heart and soul. pc:AnnieKat Photography
Oh for real! Goodness, it’s almost November and the barn is still heavy with fly spray perfume! #shooflydontbotherme
Goodness y’all! It’s #NationalGrouchDay or is that #chestnutmare day?
Halloween is comin y’all! Are you ready?! #spookies
Yes but you better know which one you have and you got what you asked for! #wronglead
B&L Stables had a great showing at State last weekend. We featured two youths and one amateur who are still new to showing and one of our seasoned adult amateurs. We took home a trailer full of smiles, many ribbons, more medals, and are awaiting final placing audits but preliminary announcements has us sweeping up a few high point and reserve championships. Very proud of this group- well done! #showlife #csha #showofchampions
Now that the smoke is starting to lessen- is anyone else ready for Fall?
Smokey days turn into patio napping training sessions. We will totally take high point and reserve in this!!! -Sammy and Lily
Never forget. #GodBlessAmerica #backtheblue #backthered

We are prepping two youths and two amateurs for show this weekend. For three of them this is their first show ever! #goodluck #horseshows #newbiesrock
