Some Bloom folks may remember that this is the church that John Poole and James Dailey left behind when they moved to Palm Springs. As part of the group for New York's Collegiate Churches, actually the first one founded in the 1628, the congregation fairly recently aligned officially with the UCC. While the building was completely destroyed by the fire, the church remains brilliantly alive as a beacon for justice and compassion with their ministries.
