Western Midget Racing will be presented by Mike Peckfelder at Masters Design and Construction for the 2021 season, the series announced today. The WMR presented by Masters Design and Construction has also gained support from Rick Young at RAMS Racing and Rockwell Security for the upcoming season. The 2019 Nut Up Pro Late Model champion and six-time 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model winner has partnered with Blaser Swisslube as the title sponsor on the #11 Toyota Camry for the nine-race series. 14-year-old Jade Avedisian completed her mission towards an unprecedented feat, as the Clovis, Calif. teenager won both the National Open Wheel A-Class and Restricted national championships. Avedisian closed the deal on Saturday and Sunday at the Fall Fling at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, OK. She became the first pilot to win both division’s championships in the same season and will end 2020 ranked fourth all-time in victories in the series. 14-year-old Ashton Torgerson of Medford, Oregon continued his outstanding season in Ten-J Chassis Micro Sprints, charging to the $1,200 victory in the eighth Lonnie Kaiser Memorial at Dixon Speedway on Saturday night.
