As the days and weeks turn into months of social distancing it’s easy for kids to feel like they’re running out of activities but we have some super fun and out-of-the-box suggestions for you & the family to do and play together! Alphabet Drive: Take a drive around town and have your child find the letters of the alphabet (in order) in different signs. Time Capsule: Have your child locate items around the house that are unique to this social distancing time and add them to a... time capsule. Then in 1, 3, 5, or 10 years, you can open it together and reminisce. Cooking Recipes: Work with your kiddos and select new recipes for dinner and prepare them together or find a tasty fall treat to bake together. Obstacle Courses: Have your kiddos use items around the house and create an indoor or outdoor obstacle course for them to complete. Challenge them to create a new course every week! Scavenger Hunt Hikes: Have your kiddos make a list of items they would like to look for on a neighborhood walk or hike.
