Another Winters QC roller done... but I forgot to get pictures of the finished product.

I finished up this original '32 frame with the '40 X and rear cross member over the summer but I had to wait a while to let the customer show it off before posting pictures.

This 1948 stock X member was so pitted in the center I thought it would be best just to replace it from a pedal assembly back. The pedals had to be bent to fit in a 32 frame and the X member has to be notched for the pedal clearance.I also flatten the 48 rear crossmember for the chassis.

It looks like I'll be doing more Winters QC this year than my prior 11 years of business combined!! They also make a plain banjo now for about 2k... it's nice and not a bad price compared to a currie with a limited slip at around $1700.

My frames get to take vacations.....I just stay here in Bako and work! This one went to Chicago a couple weeks ago.

With a 6 speed trans and the frame set up pretty low, I had to make a custom single level X member for this one.

This was 8 years ago.....the goal was to have the truck sit at 4 inches off the ground with both front and rear suspension in a "neutral" position.(because it was getting air bags) That way it could be raised or lowered and driven without any excess tire wear in the front...or rear end miss- alignment in the rear. That's why I did the "kick-up" on the front...I didn't want it to be "lowered" at 4 inches ... I wanted 4 inch to be "stock". The rear was done with 3 plates to make sure there was no flexing. I don't do custom frames like this anymore...but I thought I'd share. - thanks for looking

The new "long throw" master cyl mount. 7" from pedal to master cyl. This will allow about a 3 " mounting range from the stock location.
