This year 2016, the Blackberry Festival will be held on Sunday September 4th Labor Day weekend again at Klamath's Camper Corral.

This years festival is featuring a SILENT AUCTION, along with awesome Raffles, all through the donations of our local businesses! Dessert/Jam contest is a tasty treat for only $2.00 you get a plate full of some of the best recipes around! The Horseshoe Tournament has a $5.00 entry fee and First and Second divide up the winnings. The "Boarder Coast" a 70's & 80's Classic Rock will be playing throughout the day. Home Depot will bring enought kids' aprons & kits to make 125 toy ...cars for a generous give away. The Wonder Bus will be on hand for kids and families to discover their imaginations. The 4H kids will have there petting zoo available for loven. We will also have a number of activities for famalies to do together i.e. rock painting (fish head, flower or affirmations), Chalk Art Mural, Mosaic art work, coloring and learn some Yurok words. The light House Church is donation around $250.00 in prizes just to be Raffled to the kids just for participating, plus we about $100.00 more in prizes just for the kids, free of charge. Garrette Lamore and some of her artist friends will have a artist circle in the Rec. room from 11:00- 3:30 It is such a nice place to have a festival, nice soft level grassy lawns. You could bring tou blanket or loung chairs and make a day of it, we have unique local food vendors i.e. Indian Tacos or just fry bread. Also you could get your christmas shopping done at all the talented Artisans booths. For lodging info go to www.klamathchamber.com we had an aray of AAA rated RV Parks and Campgrounds, two very nice motels, and special B&B, and the infamous Historical Requa INN.
