A request for custom paternosters yesterday got me thinking that I have loads of gorgeous paternosters languishing in my shipping room. I love to research and m...ake them, but find the method necessary to market them on our website burdensome. I always have a wonderful display and selection at TORM, but only a few of you get to see them. So, thanks to the wonder of the internet, viola’! here are a selection. After a very quiet year, BSD again takes to the field! Order of the Crescent brother, WorldJoust knight and long time BSD wearer Steve Mallett participated in... a tournament at Pendennis Castle, Cornwall this weekend in BSD hose, arming doublet and hat. His horse Nero wears a saddle cloth I made for Steve probably about 15 years ago but is still going strong. . Steve was one of my original arming doublet testers and had very specific opinions about how it should fit and function. Thanks to him and several other knights who were not afraid to tell me what was wrong with the design we came up with the hard working and effective foundation garment now worn by knights, men at arms and HEMA practitioners all over the world.
