I can’t with this cutie!! . . I got to work with her amazing parents to for their birth. It’s amazing what can happen when a family heads in to their birth feeling equipped, supported, and confident. Even when things don’t go as planned (which happens waaaay more than we acknowledge sometimes) it’s important to feel loved, supported, know your options, and have the confidence advocating what’s best for YOU in that present moment. There is a difference between getting thrown into a chain of events without consent -versus- accepting the present moment and whatever path your birth takes while doing the best for you, feeling connected with your partner, and riding the birth wave with a sense of ease & confidence.

Hiiiii! Lots of new friends here on IG so I thought it’d introduce myself... and for those of you who already know me, tell me if you think this is accurate I am a mama who is pretty much obsessed with her kid. Like, I ask her for 28,485,499 kisses a day and make sure we are still best friends. And also, motherhood is insane Me and my hubs met at a gym as co-workers and suddenly fell in love (we didn’t see it coming) and did a surprise elopement for our wedding. Ou...r family was shocked, it was awesome. We are simple people and love to have fun! I have been working as a birth doula for 7 years and I absolutely love what I do! I was a birth worker for 5 years before I had a baby of my own and let’s just say it was very eye-opening #bestgigever I love educating people about living a non-toxic lifestyle & finding budget-friendly hacks to serve families while also keeping it natural. Holistic health is the name of the game. I am outgoing and comfortable talking to pretty much anybody but I am a total introvert. I have a free-spirit, loves to ask questions, very passionate, intense, bubbly, go-getter, loves people hard, always learning, type of personality #manylayers Oh, and potatoes will forever be my favorite food in all of life mashed, baked, fried, stuffed, whatever! Life is crazy, and messy, and beautiful, and awesome, and unpredictable and I love to share in this space. Love you and thanks for being on this journey with me.

SHE DID IT! . . This beautiful mama had a gentle & calm birth despite all the surrounding chaos in the world. She was sure to tune in to her body, her baby, her husband, and my voice while laboring. When her baby entered the world calmly and gently, I could hear her saying I did it! I did it! I did it!! Swipe to read her birth story and see a picture of me at her birth (virtually). . . Sending lots of love and encouragement to all the pregnant / birthing families out there. I am fighting for you and your birth. Lean in to your birth team, your partner, and/or whatever brings you a sense of peace & calm. I invite you to reach out if you need some love and support. You are stronger than you know... and also, no woman should have to birth alone. Love you. @ Hoag Hospital Labor & Delivery

YES, I am still providing doula services!! It’s true that as of now only person can be present with the birthing person and doulas, children, and other family members cannot attend if you’re planning a hospital birth. Of course I am hoping this changes sooner than later but we are waiting it out. In the interim, I am 100% here to serve your family now more than ever. There’s already uncertainty that accompanies birth and with this added layer it’s important to have a str...ong support system in place. . . Take some deep breaths. Relax your body. Send some extra love down to your baby. Let’s put your mind at ease and call me if you need to connect We can do this. You can do this! . . For most families it serves them best to labor at home as long as possible where they feel safe, private and unobserved with your partner and a doula (*if low risk) as we work toward welcoming your baby earthside. I am keeping myself healthy so I can be there for all the families I am serving at this time. I’m grateful that we have phone / video support so we can be in touch to navigate this journey together. . . Reach out if you need referrals to local midwives for a Homebirth or birth center birth. Sending you all extra love today! . . See more
