This patient was referred to me for endodontic treatment plus post/core buildup. I explained to the patient that I could do what was requested but due to the extreme destruction of tooth structure the restoration would probably not last more than 2-3 years. A better option was to extract the tooth, place an Ultratooth implant and construct a Cerec crown. Thanks to the fact that we have a Cerec machine in the office, that could all be done in one day.
