Promising news: gov't announcing Phased ecomonic reopening: Phase 1: -Vulnerable should shelter in place -telework encourages -minimize essential travel... -avoid groups of 10+ ppl - GYMS CAN REOPEN with sanitation -large venues can operate with social distancing -bars still closed --- ["Gyms" include Yoga centers!!] --- Phase 2: after 14 days and criteria still met, -vulnerable should still shelter in place -gatherings should be fewer than 50 -non essential travel resumes -schools reopen -continue to telework when possible -still no visits to senior centers -bars can open w/ limited occupancy Phase 3: after 14 days w/ no evidence of rebound, -vulnerable ppl can resume public activity -unrestricted worksites -bars can operate with increased occupancy. When the time comes, e will be continuing the strict protocols of distancing and additional disinfection we were practicing before the lockdown, as well as our regular sterilization of the Yoga room and professional cleaning of the school. We will also be providing guidance and suggestions for when you do return after the long gap, as we understand the challenges that come with that. And our teachers will also be guiding you through your initial classes upon return to again emphasize safety and gradual re-acclimation. Bishnu Charan Ghosh said: "It's never too late, you're never to old, never too bad, (and Bikram added: 'never too sick') to start from the scratch once again." Every class is new, and returning from this gap in your practice will offer an opportunity to "start from the scratch once again." Keep well and stay safe until we're practicing together again.
