We have LIFTOFF! This week we celebrate San Mateo County Libraries! SMC Libraries administers The Big Lift Inspiring Summers program. This week’s LIFTOFF! recognizes Coastside Children's Programs (CCP)!! Although remote learning has been difficult for all of us, teachers and students are working hard! A Montara student couldn't identify shapes when his preschool stopped due to COVID. Nonetheless, the child, with parental support, stayed engaged during the 2.5 month closure. When school returned, teachers asked the children to move to a specific designated shape marked off with tape (triangle, pentagon, square, etc.), within a week the student was able to identify his shapes!
