Winter is on its way! Have you picked out everything you need? This includes making sure you have a working stop and drain valve, marking it with a tall stake so you can find it in the snow, insulating plumbing, turning off/draining and/or disconnecting all outdoor irrigation including hoses. Thanks to https://tundracomics.com/ for this awesome image.

It’s Energy Action Month! Did you know saving water also saves energy? Just one more reason to switch to WaterSense labeled fixtures!

I am a longtime fan of The Awkward Yeti - Nick Seluk so I really hope he doesn't mind me posting this. When I saw he illustrated a water pun I just absolutely had to share!

It's that time. If you've been checking the weather you know a cold front is on its way. While all irrigation must be shut off and winterized by November 1, it's always a bright idea to turn it off early if the temperatures start to drop.

Paving at the intersection of Mill Creek/Talmadge and the Big Bear Boulevard has been pushed to Thursday October 15. Please plan accordingly as there will be one way traffic control rotating from one direction to the other as they have to pave in each direction. One way traffic control is expected to last a couple of hours in each direction. On Friday there will be impacts to North Shore where there will be one way lane closures just east of Stanfield as well as slowing due to patch paving in other locations in Fawnskin. Thank you for your patience; please slow for the cone zone and be kind to workers.
