Worth posting: A co-worker asked, "What is it like to be a Christian?" The other co-worker replied, "It is like being a pumpkin. God picks you from the patch, brings you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. Then he cuts off the top and scoops out all the yucky stuff. He removes the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc., and then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside of you to shine for all the world to see.

What are some of your favorite parts of creation?

Now that you have met your group of ladies to grow in the Word with this year through studying Genesis...

I believe this goes perfectly as we look at Genesis 1:1-25 this week! Our right response is to praise God for all He has created

Our Genesis study begins the second week of September!

I’ve see. This a few times. It has great doctrine. God has CALLED us according to HIS purposes.

This was shared by a friend and it hit home with me today. Especially after canceling our small family and friends get together planned for today. I went to a friends house to pick up some veggies the other day (for 5 minutes), but that choice led to a new reality check...my friends, nieces, friend had been tested and now has been found positive for CoVid. Family quarantine begins again. No party today. No church tomorrow. No Bible Study next week. When God MAKES us lie down in green pastures, let’s choose to breath in the calm and enjoy the peace surrounding us in the slow. It is for freedom He has set us free!
