Took a few of our youth to volunteer this morning at County Supervisor Hilda Solis food basket giveaway at Angelus Plaza. Angelus Plaza is one of the largest subsidized housing complexes for low-income seniors in the United States.

So this happen today at work at our BHTYC staff meeting. I was surprise with a special recognition from The Veteran Of Foreign Wars VFV POST 1013. Thank you Julie Sands and Tony Zapata.

Event Squad supplied projection and sound for Movie Night in Hollenbeck Park last week. This crew of young technicians from Boyle Heights learns the trade at INVENT, and supports an event in the neighborhood. Way to go!
