We still have spots open for our STEAM Summer Camp! Children will get to take home a robotics kit and build their own robot out of LEGO bricks led by Iron Patriots students! Www.beyerrobotics.org July 6-17, grades 4-6, $35 per household. Please help us get the word out!

Last summer, we held our very first STEAM summer camp, where near 80 students came to Beyer High School for a week to learn the aspects of robotics. This summer, our robotics team decided that we wanted to continue this camp despite the obvious obstacles. We decided to make a distance learning summer camp where 45 students will get the opportunity to learn robotics at home for two weeks in July. Like the previous camp, this one has been set up by and will be led by Iron Patri...ots students, who will mentor the kids each step of the way. This camp will run from July 6th-17th and is geared towards incoming 4th-6th graders. The camp costs just $35 and you will borrow a robot kit with everything you need to build a robot and have access to live videos and one-on-one support. Registration for our summer Robotics Camp is live! This is a virtual, 2 week camp July 6th-17th for students entering 4th through 6 grades. The students will check out a kit of parts with everything needed to build and program a robot to complete a challenge at the end of camp! Camp fee is $35. Summer Camp Update! We will be holding a virtual summer camp this July for elementary age students. Students will have at-home kits and the instruction will be online. We will have more details about ages, dates, and registration in the coming weeks!

The Patriot Award celebrates outstanding accomplishments in academics and/or character. Several robotics students are part of this great group, congratulations Joe Leon, Adrean Cajigas, Zachary Stephens, and Adrian Fuentes!

Congratulations to our Iron Patriots co-captain Danielle Haubrich for winning the Dean’s List Finalist award at our cancelled Idaho Regional! This award celebrates students who show leadership, initiative, and expertise in STEM. Great job Danielle!

Heading home - Our competition in Fresno as well as the rest of our events this season have been postponed/cancelled. We are so proud of the work the students have put in all year, they built an amazing robot and had high hopes for this season. We hope to be able to show off our robot at a later time.

California is coming together to ensure that everyone in our state is counted in the #2020Census! The Census uplifts the voices of our families, friends and neighbors across the Golden State.
