We had a good time as we made this silly video for the fireworks stand. Come on over to the corner of McFadden and Harbor and support Bethel.

We are happy to report that things are going quite well as we welcome students back to campus and continue remote instruction for those who are not able to join us in person. We are seeing other families in the community reach out to us to take advantage of Bethel Baptist School's excellent educational and spiritual program. Remember to look over the Warrior each week (on Facebook or email) so that you can see what are the activities and important announcements for the coming days.
Today was our first "Hybrid" chapel. Several of our students are attending in person while some students need to study remotely. Our teachers are doing a remarkable job at handling both "in person" and "distance learners" with excellence.
Amazing artwork by our elementary students.
Did you know that learning to write in cursive helps to improve fine motor skills? Cursive handwriting naturally develops sensory skills. Through repetition the children begin to understand how much force needs to be applied to the pencil and paper, the positioning of the pencil to paper at the correct angle, and motor planning to form each letter in fluid motion from left to right. This physical and spatial awareness allows them to write, but more importantly, builds the neural foundation of sensory skills needed for a myriad of everyday tasks. Our students begin writing in cursive while they are in kindergarten.
All of our staff and volunteers participate in temperature screening every time they come onto our campus.
*WE WILL NEVER FORGET* (copied) {On this day... 19 years ago (September 10th) 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00 AM, September 11, 2001. In one sin...gle moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.} And none of us need to fear eternity if we have saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8). Live in FAITH not FEAR. See more
Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year at Bethel Baptist School! We are excited and looking forward to a great year as we continue to adjust to the new challenges and new opportunities before us. Our theme this year for the High School is: "Live in Faith not Fear" based on Psalms 56:3: "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee."
Hooray ! Kindergarten through 6th grade face to face classes 5 days a week starting Tuesday, September 8th.
