Bill Johnson, Senior Pastor of Bethel Church pointed out in a sermon that apart from believing a lie, a Christian cannot sin. His reasoning states that once we are saved, our new nature is in Christ, old things have passed away, all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17). As believers, we are made new in Christ. Therefore we are without sin. Bill reminds us that Christians can only sin if they believe a lie that lures them back to acting out of an old, dead nature. As Christians, we are called to live in the new by forsaking our human mindsets and putting on the mind of Christ. Lies that bring us back to our self protection and sin like: God doesn’t care, or God is not going to protect me or this is such a small things, it doesn’t really matter to God.

Nature worships its creator, His footprint is on everything that was created. Creation is God’s handiwork so it is natural that creation longs for the same things that God desires, the final revelation of His love. Through Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross, he didn’t just reconcile mankind to himself, but He reconciled all things. Creation is waiting expectantly for the sons and daughters of God to be reveled because this means that the promise spoken to Adam and Eve in the garden during the curse had come to pass. "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." ( Genesis 3:15 ).
