To Pastor and Sister Pope, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU’VE DONE AND BEEN to the Brister family yes, but also to ME personally. I have grown under your tutelage, STRONG leadership, and your magnificent guidance. You two go together like bread and butter, like peanut butter (smooth) & jelly (sweet) like cookies and ice cream. I’m sure it hasn’t always been easy with the Bethel flock, but you’ve made it appear as though it was worth it. Sister Pope you’ve always been an exemp...lary example for the women of the church. Such a class act you are. I absolutely love the way you honor your husband publicly by referring to him as Pastor. He is your husband and he may be sweetie or baby in private (that’s none of our business) but in church you always call him Pastor. I love you dearly and my heart is sooooo full of JOY when I think of your sweetness.) Now to MY PASTOR (following our First Lady’s and Sis. Dunn’s example). Oh how much I’ve grown. It’s no wonder every time I get the mic at Bethel I have a scripture. You taught me the importance of studying and praying. When we pray we’re communicating to God and when we study he’s communicating with us. Two way conversation at it’s best. My lesson first started with you when i would answer the phones during 8:00 service. You were always so calm, cool and collected. Also loved how you called my mom ‘the stroller’. Ok I’ve been typing long enough now, shoulders getting tired. I love you two, I’ll miss you two and I’m proud to be apart of your legacy. Aisha Johnson

2 Peter 3:14-18 (NLT) 14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight. 15 And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him 16 speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstabl...e have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction. 17 You already know these things, dear friends. So be on guard; then you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. 18 Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen
