#cleanbeauty advocate I became a Beauty Counter consultant because I want to make an extra income (from the comfort of my own home) and because I want to help educate women about the harmful chemicals that are in most skin care and makeup products. I’ve been in the beauty industry all my life. I’ve worked for several cosmetic companies before I became my own boss. As I get older, I realize that I am more cautious about the products that I use. When I was pregna...nt with my daughter, I became obsessed and more aware of what I was putting in and on my body. When the pandemic hit, my Lash Studio shut down for eight months. We reopened and shut down, reopened and shut down again. During this last shut down, I had a drive in my soul to empower women about clean beauty. My good friend Mel is a BC consultant and she sparked my interests in the movement. I already knew about BC but after the shut down, I thought, hey why not make some extra money while empowering women about safer products. Mel sent me a sample of a foundation that I was interested in, along with samples from the Countertime Regimen. I loved it. The more I used it, the more I could see my skin loving it too. I read more in-depth about the company and then joined. I know there’s a lot of women out there who want non-toxic products but they don’t know where to start. With my Instagram handle, I want to take this opportunity to, share my journey and inspire women to get safer products in their hands too.
