Hope you all have been enjoying your Monday Eve! I’ve been a busy bee this weekend with trying to start off the year as organized as possible both with my photography business and home life. Happy New Year Everyone!! I just wanted to thank you all for being here and my amazing 2020 clients, thank you for choosing me as your photographer! It felt so good seeing so many returning clients and it was great being able to meet so many new faces! I’ve been seeing this asked a lot lately and I’d love to hear from you all! - so here it goes- What is something you are most thankful for in 2020? Like many others, this year has been a rough for my family and thinking of those we’ve lost still gets me teary. And while I’ll likely always carry that grief until we are together again, one of the things that I’ve been thankful for this past year has been the beautiful sunsets. Is it just me or have they seemed to be extra beau...tiful this year? They’ve given me a sense of peace and a reminder that life still has its beauty even through the worst of storms. Opening up on social media is not always easy for me (the Scorpio in me lol) but when I do, it’s in hopes that I reach others going through similar situations, so that they know they aren’t alone. I have no need or desire to use this app to portray my life as always being sunshine and butterflies. But those closest to me know that butterflies have a whole new significance to me after this year. Maybe I’ll share that story on here some day... But for now, I’d just like to remind you all to hold your loved ones tight and be proud of yourself for getting through 2020. Wishing you all and your families a healthy and blessed 2021. My first family session at a beach and last session of 2020!!! So happy we were able to make this session happen for my BIL and his beautiful family during our recent family vacation. This was such a fun session to end the year with, but has me wishing we had beaches like this in Sacramento lol! The closest we’d get to this are the lake or River, but who’s down for some fun in the water this summer??
