This summer, Derek Kersey (c/o ‘21), our House Manager, interned for Sellen Construction, a large contractor based in Seattle, WA, as an engineer! Check out what he had to say about his experience this summer: I spent my time overseeing the construction of a large tower in downtown Bellevue to be occupier by Amazon. I was able to all phases of construction from the demolition of the existing work to the turnover to the architects and owners. I was able to learn from some ...of the best minds in the construction industry and look forward to using this experience in the future. I was also able to head up the summer intern volunteer experience, giving back to the Seattle community and helping out the amazing ladies who run Cancer Pathways a great organization that helps those who live with cancer and their families as well as those who have lost a loved one to cancer. Much of their building had been vandalized in the Seattle riots and we were able to restore it to its former beauty with materials donated from Sellen job sites. @ Bellevue, Washington

Please note that in compliance with Alameda County Public Health department, Alpha Delta Delta, in conjunction with the Central Office and planning committee, has ultimately decided to cancel Founder's Day for the 2020 academic year. Chi Psi has an obligation to preserve the health and safety of our brothers and long-term well-being of our undergraduates after this difficult semester. For this reason, the planning committee does not anticipate rescheduling the event for later this year as we focus on supporting the undergraduates and health of the Lodge upon return.

The undergraduates and alumni of Chi Psi at UC Berkeley are excited to announce our upcoming event "Chi Psi Runs Berkeley". We are assembling a team to run in the Berkeley Half Marathon and 10k on November 17th to raise money for Lincoln Families in honor of 9/11 hero and Delta Delta brother Mark Bingham '93. Lincoln Families is a local Oakland non-profit focused on youth support services such as education, family strengthening, and well-being that help at-risk children devel...op the skills they need to succeed. For more information visit http://lincolnfamilies.org/ In addition to raising money, undergraduates will be participating in a service day at the Lincoln Child Center in October. More information on how to support our cause will be announced in the upcoming weeks. Alumni who join the Chi Psi Mark Bingham Memorial Running Team are asked to be willing to raise money on our GoFundMe team page in honor of former Delta Delta #1 and 9/11 hero Mark Bingham, ‘93 for our local charity, Lincoln Child Center. They may run either/or the 10K (6.2 miles) or half marathon (13.1 miles).Due to limited space, only alumni who join the running team will be able to attend the memorial luncheon.
