In person class at Berkeley Ballet Theater A non-traditional approach to ballet class, unique offerin...g for the adult community in the Bay Area. 90min class. We start at the barre, with some familiarity in the structure but introducing contemporary ideas that will later be developed. Instead of a traditional center/allegro work, we focused on choreographic phrases, a place to explore, experiment, work on things that are not often found in traditional ballet classes. Our Adult Open Division dancers did an incredible job yesterday filming a new work by choreographer @neonkeon around Berkeley and Oakland! Videography team @reneffolsonproductions captured each of the solo dancers beautifully. We can’t wait to see the final product of this collaboration on Saturday, December 19th at our ‘Available Light’ livestream performance! by @sashaarro
