The CRHA Challenge lived up to its name this year, but our clients rose to the challenge! KJ Goodwin once again took home a Circuit Championship in the Green Reiner Level 2, CRHA Level 1, and reserve in the NRHA Level 1 riding Berry Me In Dough. Way to finish out your first year in the reining pen! Dallas Goodwin kept it in the family with a reserve Circuit Championship in the Short Stirrup 10 & under. Martha Vargas rode Duallin For Chics to reserve Circuit Champ in the Roo...kie 2. Kelley Cooper picked up a win the second day in the Rookie 1 on Dough For It. Jane King collected a bunch of hardware and some nice checks for her wins in four divisions of the Non-Pro Derby on Mamas Voodoo Shiner. In the Non-Pro Futurity, Cindy Capetillo took wins in two divisions riding Tisa Sweet Kiss. Rae Stambuk had a great run on Hes Smart With A Gun (aka Barett) which placed her second in the PT Rookie. Barrett pulled triple duty, winning checks in the Int. and Limited Open with Kristi Berg, and tied to win the Non-Pro with Cassandra Stambuk. Mike tied to win the Novice Horse L1 on Chex The Code owned by Earl Wiggins. Big hand for everyone! Well the High Roller Reining Classic was a success! Mike won a check in the Derby L2 on Inlovewiththemobster owned by Susan Paynter, always nice to be in the money! Speaking of being in the money, big Congratulations to Riley Cachat on a tremendous show. In her first Derby, Riley rode Spooks Diamond Rio to win the L1 . They also ended up reserve champion in the L2, and 5th in the L3. That is just the beginning of the list In the 14-18 Youth pen Riley tied for circuit... champion riding Trashy Spookshow, AND she was Rookie L2 reserve circuit champion on Gunners Special Eyes. Whew! Awesome job!! There was also another first time Derby rider in the checks. Congratulations to Jane King on a great run, winning checks in all her divisions riding Mamas Voodoo Doctor. Woot woot! We had a great weekend at the CRHA Summertime Slide, lots of results to post! Congratulations to all! Mike took home wins in all the NRHA Open divisions riding Inlovewiththemobster owned by Susan Paynter. I was Open, and Limited Open, CRHA Circuit Champion on Hes Smart With a Gun owned by ECRC Ranch. Mike also had a win in the Novice Horse 1&2 on Chex The Code owned by Everett Wiggins. ... In the non-pro divisions, KJ Goodwin was Circuit Champion in the Green As Grass riding Berry Me In Dough. Great job! It is fun to see one of our own born and raised at BPH out there Kelley Toomey-Cooper, riding Dough For It, picked up a win Saturday in both NRHA Rookie divisions and was second in the CRHA. Woot, woot! Dough For It was also born and raised at BPH. Cassandra Stambuk picked up a win the second day in all the Non-Pro divisions on Hes Smart With A Gun, nice clean sweep! Cynthia Capetillo took home the Reserve Circuit Champion in the CRHA Novice Horse Non-Pro on her homegrown Tisa Pearlas Kiss.
