We at the Benjamin Creme Museum of Art have been closely monitoring the rapidly developing COVID-19 virus situation and are committed to following the recommendations of the City and County of Los Angeles, the state of California, as well as federal recommendations concerning public protection, including those recommendations on meetings and gatherings of people. On Thursday evening March 12th, the City of Los Angeles informed the Museum of new guidelines on public protection... which include limiting gatherings to no more than 250 people and for this number of people and all smaller gatherings to maintain social distancing of six feet between members of the public. Due to these newly issued guidelines the Museum will have to delay it’s reopening until such time as new guidelines are issued. We will keep you updated as the situation evolves. The Museum is pleased to announce that it is moving to a new location on the west side of Los Angeles and will officially reopen on March 15, 2020. For the Museum it is an exciting time as we look toward the future and the opportunity to continue to present this powerful, groundbreaking art and Benjamin Creme’s timely and much needed message of hope. As we now enter our fifth year it is our hope that the Museum continues to be an inspiring focal point for sharing the extraordinary message and art of Benjamin Creme.
