1954 Rumi Scoiattolo (D202) RUMI is the name of an Italian company that built motorcycles and other machines in the city of Bergamo. The production of the motorcycles started in 1951 the Scoiattolo (Squirrel) was the first scooter that RUMI came out with. THE MODEL: There were only 2000 made between 51 and 53 (1st series 3 gears) from 54 to 56 (2nd series 4 gears) with 14’’ wheels and a single fairing that covers the bicylinder 125cc 2 speed engine. THE HISTORY: This 125cc ...2nd series RUMI scoiattolo was registered in 1954 it comes from a museum in northern Italy, After the complete restoration done in 2016 with the original color the vehicle has been used once for a show in northern Italy. VESPA PRIMAVERA ET3 1980 (IC-203) Piaggio tended to evolve their scooters through incremental improvements rather than new clean sheet designs. Probably the most emblematic of this tendency was the small frame Vespas. Their basic design remained the same from the early 60’s into the early 80’s. The ET3 incorporated all the improvements made to the small frame by Piaggio over all the years. The biggest change on the ET3 was the electronic ignition. It also had a sporty exhaust that was first used in a slightly different form on the 90 Super Sprint. We acquired this one in Italy, and it recently landed on our shores. www.bellomoto.com

LAMBRETTA MODEL B (L-1) This scooter was privately imported, in the 50’s, and was used by a pilot as a runway runabout in Southern California. It has an Ohio registration sticker from 1952, so it has been in the US at least since then. As such, it saw gentle use and was always stored indoors. The scooter is in amazingly preserved original condition. It wears the patina of age but is remarkably intact. We have done nothing to this scooter other than to get it running in tip-top shape. It is a link to the beginnings of the modern scooter, and we love it. www.bellomoto.com
