Bella Montessori School

In honor of International Women's Day, we honor a woman who helped shape the field of early childhood education. Maria Montessori was a pioneer of her time. Her developmental theories transformed the way children learn. To this day, her teaching philosophy is seen around the world inspiring millions of teachers and students everywhere.

"The environment must be rich in motives which lead interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences" -Maria Montessori In the Montessori classroom we call this environment the prepared environment. Walking along the Bella hallways, one can't help but admire the beauty our teachers have created for our students.

"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that" -Martin Luther King Jr. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., our classrooms have been discussing how we can help one another, and grow in peace and love. Here are some of the beautiful projects our students have been working on. Wishing all our families a wonderful three day weekend!

Update: Second Harvest Food Drive Last October, Bella Montessori hosted a food drive benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. We are proud to announce that Bella Families collected over 338 lbs of food. That equals approximately 282 meals that will go towards the children, seniors, and families that they serve. Thank you so much to all our families for helping us accomplish this amazing task!

We had a special visitor from the North Pole today!!! We had so much fun!

It may be summer outside, but here at Bella.....fall is in full swing! Join us Friday, October 27th for our annual Fall Festival (4pm-7pm). It will be an evening of fun and games for everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

This morning, Bella Montessori participated in the California Great Shake Out. This event is hosted all over the country to better prepare communities for earthquake emergencies. A big shout out to all students and staff. They did an amazing job!
