We're loving this wild beauty in our backyard. We've been busy growing sunflowers, cosmos and zinnias for our Summer gardens, loving the hummers, butterflies and birds that make up our little sanctuary we're building on for our natural studio. What we didn't realize were these amazing wildflowers growing everywhere on the property. We thought they were sunflowers but they are Woolly Mule's Ears in the sunflower family. 'Picture This' is a great app I use all the time that helps identify these plants, weeds and all they embody. Wild yarrow has been another native that is striking that we have been enjoying. Fascinating textures and natural beauty to accentuate what we're adding to our backdrops.
