We look at photos and videos that lead us to believe that others have more perfect lives, things, complexions/ etc ... But while we shut off our phones and change into our truest/most comfortable versions of ourselves those perfections instantly seem to fade back into the discolored/blemished/imperfect things they always truly were and we are left wondering if we are alone But although I feel the weight of this question at times I am very sure that - No one is truly perfect! What perfection even means isn’t the same in each of our eyes, but I want you to know... you aren’t alone. I don’t love to flaunt the things that make me feel insecure but the reality is that they exist for me - for each of us. I am nearly 33 and still deal with cystic acne from time to time Recently it’s been worse then ever! And when I look at myself in the mirror I feel hurt that it seems like my body isn’t happy with me & naturally I want to hide it, but.. I also imagine someone else going through the same/similar thing and wouldn’t wish them to believe that being human is shameful - it isn’t! I have been lucky to find an amazing skin care specialist in @celebnursev at @beautyloungemedspa And while she can’t make my skin be perfect each and everyday between visits it really helps to have someone look at you when you feel your worst & make you feel happy with who you are imperfections & all and they have truly been blessings to my skin to remind me that beyond all the breakouts I can’t seem to fight off alone, I am still me/the person I love with or without my imperfect complexion

I’m sharing my uncomfortable before & after to remind you and/or to teach you that you neeeed to test new face products on a small, back, hidden portion of you jawline a few times before you put it on your whole face to see how you will react (!!) I didn’t know this and I’ve been battling clean skin for forever so this was so defeating! 1st photo is current: no makeup, no prescription meds, good... sleep, 1 week after @beautyloungemedspa facial. This is not an ad- they’ve just really, really helped my skin over the past few months and I definitely vouch for them. Thank goodness for a good calming & cleansing facial. 2nd photo was my reaction to some new face products Vince & I got from Nordstrom’s two weeks ago. I used the products for two nights and woke up the next morning with a horrible, horrible reaction from the mask & serum. (The brand I won’t share because I don’t want to negativity impact some brand that worked their butt off to get into Nordstrom’s just because I personally had a bad reaction. Most PRP therapy requires 4 treatments 46 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are required every 46 months. Step1 Your blood is drawn typically from your arm and put into a special PRP centrifuge (a machine that spins rapidly to separate fluids of different densities). Step 2 After about 10 minutes in... the centrifuge, your blood will have separated into in three layers: * platelet-poor plasma * platelet-rich plasma * red blood cells Step 3 The process is meticulous with injections beginning across the scalp, approximately at every half inch over the area of thinning hair but typically, the entire procedure takes less than a half hour.
