The San Bernardino National Forest is among the forests remaining closed at this time. We continue to experience very dry vegetation, worsening weather conditio...ns, extreme behavior on recent and current fires and depleted firefighting resources due to activity nearby and up north. We'll continue to evaluate conditions for the possibility of reopening. In the meantime, we appreciate the public's help in keeping their National Forests safe!

We are sorry to have to make the hard decision to postpone the Grizzly 100 and Big Bear Mountain Bike Gran Fondo until October 24th, 2020, due to circumstances beyond our control. The fires and smoke in the San Bernardino National Forest are threatening part of the course, and there is currently a statewide closure of all National Forests. This year has been a challenge, to say the least. We are thankful for your understanding and we hope we see you in October. Derek Hermon
