Winter allows us to catch up on vineyard tasks that can be completed while the vines are dormant. We are pruning, straitening end posts, tightening the trellis wires & netting, controlling critters and getting ready for spring.

Well, we embarked on this journey a little more than three years ago, and so far we have... ... learned a ton... ... worked a ton... ... met a ton of great peop...le... ... harvested eleven tons of wine grapes... ... are enjoying it a ton... ... and all with a ton of gratefulness! Karen and I caught the end of a mid-December day and the beginning of a brisk evening at Bearing Fruit Vineyard last night. It is a great place to open a bottle of wine and Door Dash a pizza! So quiet there with the wind through the trees and an occasional howl from the coyotes,
