People can come and reflect, enjoy anytime between dusk and midnight through the end of January. To watch the ceremony live on Sat., Nov. 14 @ 5:00, go to www.facbook.com/bearvalleycommunityhospital. Thereafter, it'll be on YouTube. We are very fortunate to have a very good hospital here in our mountains. As the Foundation for our hospital, one of our ways of raising money for state of the art equipment is through this beautiful ceremony. Enjoy and consider participating next November:)

Went to the hospital yesterday, and look at their new "temperature taker", the Wello Station X! You match your eyeballs up with the green circles it takes and then prints this "badge" to wear. I thought it nifty, and wanted to share this with you all.

Facebook friends and family, if you are interested in watching our Hospital Foundation's Tree of Lights Ceremony tonight, 11/14 @5:00 PM PST, it will be on Facebook on bearvalleycommunityhospital website (not the Foundation's). Thereafter, it will be shown on YouTube. If you are physically coming to the ceremony, please stay in the comfort and safety of your own car. We will have Security help direct you where to park. We appreciate everyone of you and wish to keep you s...afe and healthy. Thank-you for your support. As I've said before, it's very moving. People buy symbolic lights for their loved ones~memory and honor~and we read the names aloud, along with 3 beautiful songs sung by Big Bear's own Divas: Nancy Celeste Walker, Elena Peavy, Kim Boda and music played by Mike Cross . The tall spruce tree in front of the hospital is then lit, and stays that way from dusk to midnight until the end of January for people to visit and reflect. We have also had amazing sponsors who, along with those who bought lights, help the Foundation purchase State of the Art equipment for our hospital (They give us a "wish list" each year.) Need to clarify that our Tree of Lights Ceremony is still ON tomorrow night, Sat., Nov. 14 @ 5:00. Due to COVID safety compliance, you will be able to view the ceremony live in the comfort, warmth, safety of your own car, OR, in your cozy home watching it on www.facebook.com/bearvalleycommuityhospital. Tree of Lights is a hospital Foundation event. (It is Big Bear's tree lighting ceremony over Thanksgiving weekend that is cancelled.)
