Bead Station 24.12.2020

Joan J just sent a pic of her latest Kumihimo creation, featuring a beautiful Susan Hanson lamp work bead (yes, we have several in the store). We love how she picked up the bead's teal accents when choosing her braid color, and the striped tassel is the perfect finishing touch! Thanks so much for sharing, Joan. Please send photos of your work to: [email protected]. Stay safe everyone, and remember to call the store between 12-4 Tuesday through Saturday if you are in need of supplies.

Vickie B has been VERY busy! Check out her beautiful pieces: a knotted Picture Jasper donut necklace, a knotted leather bracelet, a "Debbi Z" style duo cuff, a single strand sea glass necklace and a necklace using Unicorne beads. Thanks so much for sharing, Vickie! Send your pics to [email protected] so we can all see what you have been doing during these unprecedented times.

We are really missing our customers, classes and beading groups! What are you all working on now that many of you have all kinds of time on your hands? Marty G sent us a pic of her latest Kumihimo creation using a Susan Hansen lamp work focal bead. Deb M has recently discovered needle felting and is experimenting with this wearable art...although, isn't everything we do wearable art? We would LOVE to see what you are all creating while we are apart. Email pics to [email protected] so that we can share! One other announcement: Jill will be hosting a live ZOOM workshop next week. This is a free workshop during which she will demonstrate Basic Peyote Stitch to make "TP Earrings", a nod to our current situation...details coming soon!
