The Bonny Doon Fire Team is prepping for this oncoming storm. We expect 20 mph (sustained) and 60 mph gusts between 10pm tonight (Tuesday) through the early hours of Wednesday. Additionally snow, hail, and icy roads may be present for areas above 2000ft (Braemoor). Please be careful when driving tonight and only drive if necessary. Jamison Rd, Alba Rd, and Felton Empire Grade will likely be impacted, so it is recommended that residents use Empire Grade or Bonny Doon Rd for ac...cess. As usual, expect tree downs, cut power lines, and mudslides throughout our region. There are two sections within Bonny Doon that have been classified as debris flow zones and have been issued evacuation orders/warnings (Small section of Smith Grade and top of Alba Rd). Visit https://community.zonehaven.com for official evacuation map. The official evacuation points are: - SLV High School (7105 Hwy 9, Felton) - Pacific Elementary School (50 Ocean St, Davenport) - Scotts Valley Community Center (360 Kings Village Rd, Scotts Valley) Those points will provide overnight car-camping for anyone in an evacuation zone and general information and services for everyone else. For emergencies, dial 9-1-1. For other information, the phones at Station 34 (McDermott) will be manned: (831) 426-1561 For those with HAM licenses, an ARES resource net has been set up at 441.300+ PL100.0 simulcast (WB6ECE).
