We are excited to let you know that several things aligned at the last minute and we will be offering baptisms at this week's Celebrate Recovery meeting. In baptism we identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection and publicly declare our intention to follow Him. If you’re ready to take this next step in your journey of faith we would love for you to join some of our Celebrate Recovery Folsom family members who have already signed up. Tuesday nights at Celebrate Recovery Folsom just got better! Celebrate Together is designed for married and enguaged couples to come together and encourage one another through authentic relationships. By sharing our victories and struggles, we can build one another up and bring hope to hurting/healing marriages. We do this through God’s Word and the principles and steps taught in the Celebrate Recovery program. There are times in life when words are totally inadequate in sharing how you feel, this morning is one of those days. My dearest friend and brother has gone Hom...e. John Baker co-founder of Celebrate Recovery made his way Home early this morning. To say this took us by surprise would be an understatement. John touched more people with the healing power and grace of Jesus Christ than anyone else that I have ever known personally and one of those lives was mine. We will share more with you in the days to come but for now we would ask that you keep his soul mate and cofounder of Celebrate Recovery Cheryl Baker, the love of his life, along with Johnny and Jeni Baker, Laura and Brian Gibney and all their grandkids in your prayers. We will miss John more than words can express but it will only be for a short while and then we will see him again. See you soon my brother.
