Hi friends TLDR: I'll be hosting a live Q&A on Sunday at 9am - Real Talk about Race! Register now, and get access to over 33 sessions featuring trainers from a...round to world that you can see live this weekend or listen to the recordings. Longer version: Right now, NVC Academy's 7th Annual NVCFest begins. The 3-day festival raises money for the Academy to continue their work of bringing NVC training to everyone. I have participated in almost every NVCFest for two reasons. One - I deeply value their work. I know how difficult it is to to leave home to learn NVC - to leave small family members behind if I want the skills to transform our lives. I have friends in parts of the world who can't afford flights or traveling for training, or aren't given visas when they try. I support them for another reason. NVC Academy was one of the first groups that reached out to me and said they wanted to support my work -bring social justice and racial equity lenses to NVC. When people in the NVC network said privilege is a judgment and not part of NVC, NVC Academy asked me to create a fishbowl on Privilege for them. They've been tireless advocates - working to spread NVC in a way that is truly inclusive and attends to the needs of so many. So join me and trainers from all over the world as we share what we love of NVC to help raise funds for NVC Academy - a wonderful home for so many. With so much at stake in this election, and so much uncertainty just around the corner, BayNVC Trainer Oren Jay Sofer is offering an open meditation this afternoon. If you could use some support and balance, or would find it helpful to gather in community with others, feel free to join at 3pm ET / 12pm PT. All are welcome, no experience necessary. https://www.orenjaysofer.com/schedule/noon-2020 ##elections2020 #election2020 #vote #vote2020
