Bay Area Photo Bus is proud to announce that we will once again be participating the upcoming Farmworker Caravan on Saturday, October 17th! Since the last Caravan in August, farmworkers have had to work in increasingly extreme conditions. They’ve worked through a global pandemic, scorching heat waves, and stifling wildfire smoke to provide us with the food we eat every day. Please join us in doing our part to thank these most essential of workers. We will be accepting both monetary donations and donations of the items listed in the second photo of this post until Friday, October 17th. Remember to support your local artists! Benny O’Hara Arana is a local artist who works at Analog Tattoo Arts Kolectiv in San Jose. During quarantine, they have created an awesome adult coloring book! Hard copies are $20, a PDF version is available for $10, AND they are selling prints from the coloring book for $15. It’s so important to support and buy local right now, so please consider checking out Benny’s work!

Farmworkers are a crucial part of our workforce, providing the food we eat everyday, yet they tend to struggle to gain access to basic items. For this caravan, we are asking for donations of items most needed by farmworkers. These items are listed in the photo above. Please consider donating items or you can Venmo @bayareaphotobus and we will shop for items in the coming week.
