Another Employee Spotlight If you come out and play on Sunday mornings you've probably had the joy of meeting our starter, Nate Udy. Nate took up golf in 2001 when he decided to take a golf class at Sac City College. His immediate love of the game led him to apply for a position at Bartley and he began working here in 2002. His life has changed a lot since then - he's married, works full time for the state, and recently purchased his first home - but 18 years later still sh...ows up each week with a smile on his face ready to service our customers. He's by far the longest tenured hourly employee at the course and he wants to stay at least two more years. He thinks it would be cool to have worked here for 20 years. We do too and hope he stays much longer. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do, Nate! Comment below to thank Nate for his great work!

Employee Spotlight The word on his hat doesn’t lie James Jones is an absolute BEAST! He can singlehandedly set up and tear down a large event with the pace and execution typically requiring multiple people. When he stages carts he does it so fast it makes you wonder if he’s found a way to turn off the governor. Once he’s done with his primary tasks you can often find him fixing a gadget, painting a wall, or taking care of numerous other issues that arise on a property of ...this size - always with a work ethic rarely seen. James has been a jack of all trades for Bartley since 2016 and says he enjoys this job more than any he’s ever had. When he’s not busting his tail for us, James loves to play golf and spend time with his wife and two children, Tyler -13 and Lexi 6. Thanks for all you do for Bartley, James! Glenn Fluke and the Fluke Group made their monthly trip to Bartley yesterday and had a fantastic round followed by food and drinks on our outdoor patio. On the way out, Glenn stopped by Oliver’s office to chat and ended up booking his entire 2021 schedule for Bartley. Glenn has typically only booked a month in advance and was pleasantly surprised to learn that small groups and tournaments can book a year in advance.
