We are beyond grateful to the folks at @sbrestaurantcoalition for gifting us these certificates for @santacruzmarkets. They are out here showing us just how important community care is, especially when it comes food security. From all of us at Barbareño, a big thank you. Happy holidays.

Forever one of our favoritesThe Santa Maria BBQ, wagyu tri-tip, pinquito beans, pico de gallo, and garlic butter. "Invented" in 1952, this cut of meat was not an overnight success. If it wasn't for the enthusiasm of a budget-minded salesman, the tri-tip probably would've gone away. Today, tri-tip is found throughout the Central Coast and has a great story behind it.
We've brought back one of our favorites! NY Strip with brown butter miso, shiitake, sweet potato gnocchi, and harrington grenache
Eight years ago, we had the beginnings of the concept for Barbareño, and it was simple: create a restaurant that embodied Santa Barbara and the Central Coast through dishes that reflect the history, traditions, and unique specialties of our region (and make it uncommonly delicious, of course). We did want to serve the best local, organic, and sustainable ingredients, but the stories and inspiration for our dishes would be our focus. Now, almost 6 years since we first opened... our doors in 2014, we hope that we’ve been able to share what we’ve discovered, learned, and created with Santa Barbara and all of our guests. From the Grilled Avocado, Acorn Pappardelle, to our latestSteam Buns: with sage hill braised rabbit, vadouvan, black apple puree, and stone fruit. Each dish tells a story of time and place in our region, which we are so proud to call our home. See more
Hello, friends! We will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays for the remainder of August, but are open from 5 PM-9 PM Wed-Sun. We are so incredibly grateful for your support during these ever-changing, crazy times. Our Santa Barbara community has enabled us to remain open and stay strong while not compromising on doing what we love. We will continue to work our hardest to make delicious food and deliver genuine hospitality while keeping your safety and the safety of our staff our top priority.
Our patio space just got a little bit bigger! In an effort to keep our guests and staff as safe as possible, we’ve expanded our patio seating. We hope to see you soon!
Barbareño will be closed todayWednesdaydue to mechanical problems. We will resume service tomorrow! Thank you for your support

Mmmm the Garden Lettuces The focal point of our dish is the goat cheese burrata, which is not actually burrata but is instead spearified goat cheese and goat yogurt. That is served atop a mixture of sweet roasted beets, local herbs, greens, and citrus. Topped with a bergamot vinaigrette and finished with roasted pistachios, we think this dish elevates the classic California salad in a great way.
Craving something sweet? Why not try the Ojai Hive and Honey! This dessert encompasses all of the great things made possible by our local pollinators; Honey, Bee pollen, mead, honeycomb, granulated Honey, seasonal fruit, fragrant herbs, and various tree nuts.
A burger that's worth a thousand words Chefs blend patty, house bacon, smoked cheddar, avocado, pinquito miso aioli that takes six week to make, pickles, and all on our house brioche buns.
Make tonight special! Whether it's date night or family night, we've got you covered. Enjoyed uniquely flavorful dishes that represent the Central Coast. Make a reservation at http://ow.ly/vFyX50Ag1CT
