Well the decision has been made. Today we are kegging two kegs of our world famous, critically acclaimed, Patton Valley Pale Ale. The other keg will be our newest non-alcohol beer. The name of this new creation is our Poser Pale Ale. The definition of a poser is....... Something that tries to fit into a profile that is is not. Something that tries to give the impression that they are one thing when they are really another.... It also named after Jacob Pino. When in high school Jake had a beautiful lifted truck. It was bad ass looking. Only one problem, it was 2 wheel drive. It was a Poser. Cant wait to try our new beer. Doing it because it’s difficult and not very many people have tried it and been successful. When we open our new facility, our goal is to have a great tasting non-alcohol beer on tap for all of those who don’t drink alcohol or will be that day’s designated driver.
Today’s brew is going to be epic. First we must keg the Iron Door IPA. Then we are brewing the award winning Patton Valley Pale Ale. Only this time we are doing things a little different. 10 of the 15 gallons will be our amazing Pale Ale that you all love and count on. The remaining five gallons will be a new Non-Alcohol Pale Ale. Why you ask would be so foolish to brew a non-alcohol beer. The answer is simple - because most brewers can’t. We only have one problem. What are ...we going to name it. Here’s where you come in. Please reply with your suggestion for our Non-Alcohol Pale Ale. Remember it needs to have a desert or off-roading theme. We look forward to your responses - I think!
Looks like we’re missing someone today. Tracy Cummins decided that going to the river is more important than his responsibilities at the brewery. Well at least you left us a nice note. With Tracy gone we don’t have anyone to distract us or hold us back anymore. We’re going to brew it faster, better and stronger than we ever have.
Well here we are faceless, but for great reason. Enjoy your day Mark! Brewing the Iron Door IPA, and kegging / tasting the Charlie Brown. Great day and damn it smells great in here!
More photos from todays adventure.
Today is Burgeon Beer Company product placement day (the other BBC). We also decided it would be an appropriate time to do a PSA.
Happy Year of the Rat!
Brew day. Kegging The Grinch’s Golden Stout and brewing the Imperial IPA. Only about two hours behind schedule. Might’ve been because Tracy spilled a significant amount of glycol and the cleanup took a little longer than expected. Probably should’ve been wearing our hazmat suits. While we’re at it we might as well clean and organize the brew facility.
Another day at the shop.
Kegging a new beer today - the Pair-a-Dice Pale Ale. Anyone know where the name came from. We are also brewing a new beer today - the Anza IPA. Trying all sorts of new methods. Going to be epic.
Complements of Waterdog Products, we have a new chilly box. Making beer great again, and lowers are carbon footprint. Banzai - SD’s first Leed Certified brewer.
There are certain times one must sit back and enjoy the beer we made. The Digity Double is one of those beers that makes one of those times. Not too bad for the three stooges if I do say so myself.
Ribbon for the cream ale!
