Artist #BYMS is an American artist and architect. His work includes repeated use of found objects and exploration of architectural forms and abstracted motifs, some dating back to the beginning of his career in the 1970s, cataloging much of Los Angeles’s urban terra forma through polaroids and later through sculpture and digital forms. To celebrate the Friends of Art: "We Have Fires to Fight" online group exhibition, Balancing Act asked artist Sel10ut to create a unique artwork to benefit charity and donate a portion of the show's sales to a charity of his choosing. On Thursday, Sel1out will be hosting his al fresco socially distanced dinner & marché aux puces to benefit @calfund, in his hometown of Monrovia. Since Calfund's Wildfire Relief Fund opened in 2003, they have granted more than $24 million to support relief and recovery efforts in the aftermath of devastating wildfires.
