I am very excited to announce our new Live Implant Master Course training. This course includes over 18 opportunities for hands-on learning and two live surgeries. Our team has also gone to great lengths protect our participants and our patients against COVID-19. Social distancing, PPEs and hands on cameras have been implemented.

Chronic periodontitis predominantly affects adults, but aggressive periodontitis may occasionally occur in children.

Periodontal diseases comprise a wide range of inflammatory conditions that affect the supporting structures of the teeth (the gingiva, bone and periodontal ligament), which could lead to tooth loss and contribute to systemic inflammation.

Wash your hands frequently. This is without a doubt the most crucial thing you can do to minimize your risk of contracting the coronavirus disease. And not just a quick rinse wash your hands with soap for at least 20 to 30 seconds any chance you get especially after being in public or traveling via public transport.

Periodontal treatment is necessary when various conditions affect the health of your gums and the regions of your jawbone that hold your teeth in place.

Research has recently proven what dentists have long suspected: that there is a strong connection between periodontal disease and other chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and osteoporosis.

The word periodontology comes from two Greek words, peri which means "around" and odous which means "tooth." And, in fact, that is what periodontists do: treat the gums and other tissue and underlying bones that support the teeth. In addition, periodontists place and repair dental implants. According to the National Institutes of Health, periodontal disease is the most common cause of tooth loss among adults so the career is both rewarding and challenging.
