AT NOON TODAY, CDPH announce targeted countywide bar closures around the state. CDPH has been analyzing data over the last 48 hours and has concluded that an ad...ditional action needed to manage the increasing rates we are seeing is to release updated guidance on the closure of bars for counties on the County Monitoring List today. The Department will recommend that counties on the County Monitoring List for 3 or more consecutive days, but less than 14 days, close bars through local health officer order (or do not allow for the opening if bars have not yet been allowed to open in the county). Counties that have been on the list for 14 days or more are required to immediately close bars.
