Walter Wallace, Jr., a 27 year old Black man, was shot dead by Philadelphia police officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance call. Mr. Wallace was armed with a knife, refused to listen to the officers' requests to disarm and comply, and continued to move towards the officers. Let's talk about the Breonna Taylor death investigation. A Louisville Grand Jury returned 3 charges against former Detective Brett Hankison for wantin endangerment as a result of shooting his weapon multiple times in a reckless manner. No charges were returned regarding Breonna Taylor's death.

Breonna Taylor was shot and killed by an officer during the execution of a search warrant in Louisville, Kentucky. The Louisville officers entered her apartment with the authority of a search warrant. Ms. Taylor's boyfriend, Mr. Walker, reacted and shot one officer in the leg. At that point, the officers returned fire with multiple shots, 6 of which struck Ms. Taylor. Mr. Walker was arrested for shooting at the officers, but the case was later dismissed. Now, the Louisvi...lle Grand Jury has reviewed the evidence presented and returned 3 charges against former Detective Brett Hankison for wanton endangerment as a result of the shots he fired while outside the apartment. Some of the shots he fired traveled into and through the neighboring apartment, which had 3 occupants. The Grand Jury did not return charges for causing Breonna Taylor's death. Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard issued criminal charges against former Atlanta Police Officer Rolfe and Officer Brosnan. Rolfe is facing a Felony Murder charge, which is eligible for the death penalty, along with a host of additional charges. District Attorney Howard states that Brosnan will testify against Rolfe and is cooperating with the prosecution while Brosnan's attorneys deny this and say the District Attorney is fabricating the facts.
