When Gonzalez took her oath to represent the 80th District in the CA Assembly she swore to the following: "I, ______, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of California against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance.....(Except the 8th Amendment?) SB10 By swearing she would support and defend the U.S. Constitution that included the 8th Amendment no matter how she feels about it-Deputy Fischer has the Right to Bail.
