Badminton Club at Sac State

Happy new semester all! Thank you for being a part of badminton club at CSUS. We will be meeting for our first meeting of the semester at 6:00pm this Sunday (01/26/2020) and as usual, equipment will be available for use. FOR NEW MEMBERS:... If you are a CSUS student, it is very important to access your Hornet Hub profile are register for Badminton Club there and finish the LIABILITY WAIVER. This is a requirement of CSUS and I would be glad to help out anyone who wants me to walk them through this process in person. It should take about 10min altogether, but helps our club a lot. Also, for the new members not familiar with Badminton Club, you're free to come and go whenever you like anytime from 6:00pm - 10pm. Be mindful of the beige court lines and walking through in order to not interrupt games as it is possible to get injured this way. Good Evening Badminton Club Members, Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the club will be cancelled tonight. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will be meeting at our regular time tomorrow at 6pm - 10pm.

Happy Fall 2019 semester, everyone! I hope everyone is settling into their new classes well. Badminton Club will be meeting every Saturday and Sunday 6pm - 10pm** for the rest of the semester (except Thanksgiving weekend), including tonight and tomorrow. As a reminder, all Students are free. Non-students will have to pay a 10usd fee for the semester. For those who are unsure about joining our club, we will allow 1 trial visit. We have loaner equipment near the entrance for th...ose without a racket or shuttlecock. The club format is an open gym style, where people can rally or practice freely. We ask that you show some common badminton courtesies when you play at the gym, such as: - When the courts are all filled, and people are waiting to play, be mindful and rotate people after 1 game. - Do not grab the nets when they are up. Be respectful with our equipment! - Watch the badminton court lines when walking around to a court. Good afternoon Badminton Club! Hope everyone is enjoying their break! Thank you for everyone who participated in our June practice events. Originally, we wanted to hold open gym today and tomorrow until 10pm after our tournament ends. However, due to the hot weather, we have decided to cancel open gym. Thank you everyone! Happy Thursday, Badminton Club will be hosting a summer practice for the next three weekends: 6/15 and 6/16, 6/22 and 6/23, 6/29 and 6/30. These practices will be from 6PM - 10PM in Yosemite Hall 171. We our still working out with the school on the dates of the tournament, so for those that are interested, we will update the Facebook page as soon as we get a final confirmation from CSUS....
