Backspace Wellness

CALLING ALL WELLNESS PRACTITIONERS Backspace Wellness Collective (BWC) is a group of practitioners that seek to make self-care culture and an array of healing arts accessible to more and more people in Oakland, CA. Specifically, we want to encourage organizations and individuals committed to making our city a more just, livable place to care for themselves and go about their work in a sustainable way. Part of the larger OMNI CollectiveBWC offers massage, on-site herbal consu...ltations, Body Talk, skin-care services and more. In addition, we host monthly donation-based clinics, DIY workshops and events that provide a space for dialogue and promote community health and practice. Located in the Oakland Omni Commons, a democratically run community center in the heart of Oakland's Temescal neighborhood, we serve the 100's of activists, artists, hackers, and organizers who walk though the doors every day. We are looking for wellness practitioners of all types who resonate with our vision and mission and are committed to collective organizational models to practice in the OMNI space.
