BABETTE

It is with deeply conflicted emotions that I announce that I am retiring at the end of the year and we are closing Babette. I have been designing and making clothing for more than 50 years and it is time to do something else. For the past 48 years the name Babette has come to represent a level and quality and taste that I have been proud to have been a part of. I didn’t do this alone. Our factory workers and support staff have been an integral part of our success. We have... had an incredible journey together. The hardest part of this process is knowing that we won’t be seeing people we have worked with for as many as 25 years every day. Over the years I have gotten to know many of you and I deeply appreciate the support that you have given us. I know that some of you will be disappointed but it truly is time for me to move on.
