Azusa Little Free Library

With all the rain we've had recently...our new door did not hold up well. Apparently we used the wrong type of wood and it warped immediately. We will be looking for a new type of wood and be making a brand new door. We are open for suggestions on the theme for the door. For now we reinstalled the original door backwards so it could still be operational while we worked on the new door. We hope to hear suggestions from everyone on a new possible theme for the door and thank you for your patience!

It has been a while since we last changed out the books but today we dusted off the Azusa Little Free Lobrary, stocked it up with new books, organized it and added our Christmas Tin with free pencils, erasers, sharing rocks and hot cocoa. We will be putting in new small free treats daily all month long for the holidays! Enjoy Azusa!!!

So here it is #NewDoorAlert !!! We just installed the new door on the Azusa Little Free Library on Dalton. My daughter picked the design and it took us exactly 2 weeks to do it all. Thanks to everyone who offered their words of encouragement. We hope the community enjoys it!!!

Since we are replacing the door...we decided to retouch up the paint on the Azusa Little Free Library. So today Sunday it will be unavailable. But it should all dry by tomorrow and we are almost done with the door as well.

On my way out this morning I thought I saw books inside The Little Free Library. When I got home tonight...sure enough...someone filled it up completely! Thank you to the people/person who did this. We have been a little discouraged by the incident that happened this past Saturday and contemplated removing it completely. However everyone's encouraging comments lifted us up. We started searching for a new door. Yesterday we found an old cabinet door that is the exact width we needed so we had it cut to size. Tomorrow we begin sealing it, painting it again (new design), and hope to have the door installed and ready by Friday evening. Thank you very much to everyone!!!!!! Without your support, encouraging words and help...this Little Free Library would not be possible.
