- Research shows that raisins can lower the risk of heart disease by reducing blood pressure and blood sugar. The fiber in raisins works to lower your LDL (bad) cholesterol, which reduces strain on your heart. - Raisins are a good source of soluble fiber, which aids our digestion and reduces stomach issues. - Some phytonutrients in raisins like oleanolic and linoleic acid may have antibacterial properties. Studies have found that this effect may limit plaque forming bacte...ria in our mouths. These antioxidants also help maintain healthy oral pH levels. This can keep our saliva from becoming too acidic, helping with cavity prevention. - Raisins are considered safe for most people. They also have a moderately low glycemic index, which means they don’t cause sharp spikes and dips in your blood sugar levels. This can make raisins (eaten in moderation) a great sweet snack option for people with diabetes. - Raisins have higher levels of antioxidants compared to other dried fruits. The drying process also preserves these antioxidants, promoting greater activity than in fresh grapes. Healthy sleep (the right quality and amount) provides pleasure, growth and feeding of body tissues and cells, strength and immunity, sexual energy, knowledge and intelligence, good health, and longevity. There are processes that occur during sleep that can’t be reproduced while we are awake. On the other hand, abnormal sleep (inadequate/insufficient, excessive, or irregular sleep) has the opposite effect on health and life expectancy, for example lack of adequate sleep interf...eres with the ability of our bodily systems to repair and rejuvenate. Without sufficient rest our digestion, metabolism, cell regeneration, emotional balance, creativity, mental clarity and motor skills are impaired. According to our Ayurveda, the ideal time to sleep is between 8pm -10pm and wake up between 4am - 5:30am or 45 minutes before sunrise, which is also known as the Brahma muhurta. A great shift of energy takes place at that time. Ayurveda tells you to do some meditation, exercise and prayers to start your day right. The oil lamp (diya) has a spiritual significance. The oil in the lamp symbolizes our negative tendencies. When lit by the spiritual knowledge, they get exhausted slowly and finally perishes. The flame of the lamp always burns upwards. Similarly, we should acquire such knowledge as to take us towards higher ideals. #Diwali#clayoillamp#bringpositivity#healthemind#calmmindhralthybody#ayurveda#vata#pitta#kapha#livehealthynaturally#ayurvedaeveryday#mindbodysoul#Ayurvdicbenifits#ayurvedichealing#ayurveda#ayurvedicdoshas#ayurvedapractitioner#ayushkaamayurveda

The wearing of toe rings has been practised in India since ancient times. Toe rings worn by an Indian woman signify that she is married. A toe ring is a made out of metal like silver and is worn in pairs on the second toe of the feet. While toe rings are known to have incredible social and religious significance, not a lot is known about the health benefits associated with these silver rings. So let me share a few health benefits of wearing a toe ring-... 1. As per Ayurveda, the nerve on the second toe of the feet is connected directly to the uterus of the woman. So, a slight pressure (caused by wearing the toe ring) is known to help the reproductive system of the woman and also regulate the menstrual cycle. It ensures a healthy uterus which ensures a healthy pregnancy. 2. As Silver being a good conductor, so when you walk on the earth wearing the silver toe rings they polarizes all the positive energy from the earth and transfer it to your body. 3. Silver toe rings are worn to retain the effect of the Moon. The Moon calms our mind and heart and gives us coolness and calmness. 4. According to Ayurveda, the rings create a pressure on the women’s sciatic nerve which accelerates the blood circulation due to which the blood flow from her uterus to naval ( nabhi ) remains normal. #healthypregnancy#healthyreproductivesystem#diseaseprevention#Pcos#balancedbody#ayurveda#staypositive#vata#pitta#kapha#livehealthynaturally#ayurvedaeveryday#mindbodysoul#Ayurvdicbenifits#ayurvedichealing#ayurveda#ayurvedicdoshas
